INTEGRATING QUIZLET INTO AVIATION ENGLISH COURSE

The research aims to study and experimentally verify the effectiveness of use Quizlet computer-based flashcard program for teaching future air traffic controllers (ATCs) profession-related vocabulary. In this research, we applied a mixed-method design. sample experiment participants was 57 first-year students majoring in “Aviation transport”. To evaluate efficiency incorporation into aviation English learning, used tests, speaking activities, observations, questionnaires (the former two assess passive active vocabulary knowledge latter students` engagement motivation). empirical data proved be an effective learning tool that positively influences proficiency skills interest English. Based on obtained findings, claim acquisition basis foreign language learners` general contributing development voice communication skills. An important conclusion is made need include courses intentional component implying explicit teaching, which then should complemented with practice incidental techniques. findings can implied presenting experimental verification process.
